Structural features

Compact design: The overall structure is compact and occupies a small area. The overall length of the equipment is usually only 3/4 of that of an ordinary rubber mixer. It is easy to install, operate and move, which can save plant space and is very suitable for production workshops or laboratories with limited space.
Double roller design: With a double roller structure, the two rollers cooperate with each other to achieve the rubber mixing, plasticizing and other processes. The rollers are usually made of solid high-carbon steel material, chrome-plated on the surface, with high hardness and wear resistance, and can withstand the high pressure and friction during the rubber mixing process.

Working principle

Transmission system: Equipped with hardened gear reducer, the gears are processed by carburizing and quenching, and the surface is finely ground to improve the processing accuracy and wear resistance, while reducing the operating noise.
Gap adjustment device: The gap between the rollers is adjustable, and there are two adjustment methods: manual and electric. It can accurately adjust the gap between the rollers according to different process requirements to control the thickness and quality of rubber products.

How it works

Shearing and extrusion: The two rollers rotate relative to each other at different speeds, so that the rubber material is subjected to strong shearing and extrusion in the gap between the rollers, thereby achieving plasticization and mixing of the rubber, and fully mixing the raw rubber and various compounding agents.
Frictional heat: During the mixing process, the friction between the rubber and the rollers and inside the rubber will generate heat, which will increase the temperature of the rubber, help speed up the mixing process and improve the mixing effect.

Application areas

Rubber product production: It is widely used in the production process of rubber products such as tires, cables, hoses, tapes, rubber soles, etc. It is one of the key equipment for rubber product manufacturers.
